Feeding Guide

How much treats should you feed your pets?

Keeping treats within 10% of your pet’s daily calories isn’t just a guideline, it’s an important part of keeping them healthy.
Too many treats can lead to unwanted weight gain, which increases the risk of joint problems, diabetes, heart disease, and a shorter lifespan.

Every dog and cat has different energy needs depending on their size, age, and activity level.
That’s why we’ve included the calculation method and examples above, so you can get a clear picture of how many calories your pet should be eating in a day, and how much of that can safely come from treats.

Remember: treats should be used as a reward, for training, or simply to share a moment of joy, not as a replacement for a balanced diet.
When given mindfully, treats can strengthen your bond with your pet while supporting their long-term health and happiness. 🐾
